Experience
Valeska Pederson Hintz is a partner at Innovium Law Group. She advises entrepreneurs, emerging companies and funds on a wide variety of corporate matters (e.g., equity and debt financings, commercial contracts, corporate governance, mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures), as well as strategies for obtaining financing from alternative sources (e.g., government grants and loan guarantees).
Prior to joining Innovium Law Group, Valeska was an associate in the Silicon Valley office of Latham & Watkins LLP and in the Reston, Virginia office of Cooley Godward Kronish LLP. She has worked with numerous emerging growth and public company clients and funds in the techology and life sciences sectors and also has experience working on venture capital financings, seed financings, bridge financings, venture bank financings, initial public offerings, SEC reporting and compliance, tender offers, mergers and acquisitions, as well as distribution agreements, manufacturing agreements, licensing agreements, stock option agreements and plans, change-in-control agreements, separation agreements and consulting services agreements.
During law school, Valeska worked at Cooley Godward Kronish LLP, where she worked on corporate and technology transaction matters, and for the Honorable Justice Richard Lee Price of the Bronx County Supreme Court, where she worked on criminal matters.
In addition to her legal experience, Valeska worked in the Austin, Texas office of Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD), where she rotated through the Strategic Marketing, Regional Marketing and Finance Divisions.
